Dublin Exhibition

The Absolut Swedish Festival in Dublin is proud to present the ART program. Two shows with seven different exciting young Swedish artists currently working in Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Stockholm will be showcasing their work in the Lemonstreet Gallery and Filmbase. Though internationally based, these artist are a cross section of what young contemporary art in Sweden has to offer.
’Set Foot ’ at Filmbase will present a selection of videoworks and installations where human interaction and memory plays a crucial role.In ‘A winter nights strives towards summer’ at Lemonstreet Gallery, paintings and drawings are focused on vast and extensive landscapes, far views and intense close up’s. The unknown, yet the familiar meets in an immense atmosphere. The two exhibitions are separate shows yet they have a collective sense of a current ”swedishness”.
